And now, the news...

25/01/06 - So, we've had a 4 month break and now we're back!!?!...well, for one night at least. We're at the Westy this weekend. We might also have a couple more dates upcoming. Check the gigs page for details.

07/09/05 - Thanks to everyone who came to see our last gig/CD launch at The Star yesterday.  It was a great evening.  The new CD 'Coming Down/Wake Up' is now available - visit the Music page for more info.  We will now be having a break as we are going seperate ways for University and things, but we will be back this December!  Check the Gigs page for any updates.  We've had a great year and hope to see you all again soon.  Take care, Retrograde Inversion. x

13/07/05 - It can now be confirmed that the acoustic version of 'Slow Song' will be released on the Acoustic Fridays compilation CD along with acts such as Laura Colegate and Sequoia.  This will be released on the High Desert Music label, and will be available very shortly.  The band have also been asked to play at the Acoustic Fridays Festival on the 14th of August at Farnham Maltings to help lauch the CD. Check www.acousticfridays.com for more information.

07/07/05 - The band have been added to the Taranis Productions band listings. This will soon include a review of The Funk E.P. amongst other things.  We've been talking with lots of promoters recently so there should be some more gigs on the horizon. Also, watch this space for a big potential gig at the end of the summer...

01/06/05 - There is now a brand new acoustic track available for download on the band's Pure Volume and MySpace accounts, which has been recorded over the past couple of weeks for an acoustic compilation CD.

In other news, Retrograde Inversion's next gig is on Saturday 11th June at Backline Studios in Guildford, for the Big Red Records launch gig. The event is advanced tickets only, which you can buy from here.

08/05/05 - Retrograde Inversion headlined the afternoon session of Bordon Live Aid yesterday, to raise money for the Tsunami Appeal.  The band were interviewed for Delta FM afterwards, and this will be broadcast on Monday 9th May along with a live track from the gig.

03/04/05 - Upcoming gigs for this month include Farnham Maltings this Friday for an acoustic set, a performance in Alton College, and at Cranleigh Arts Centre on the 22nd.  Keep checking the gigs page for updates.

The band have recently been writing new material, and are hoping to record three new songs for release in July.

15/03/05 - New photos and video clips from the Battle of the Bands have been added to the Gigs and Events page!  Plus an mp3 clip of Lost At Sea added to the Music page due to popular demand.

22/02/05 - The band's February gigs are now finished, after their gig supporting Nephwrack at The Star Inn on Sunday.  The next gig is the 5th of March, for a Red Cross Fundraiser in Alton.  Other upcoming gigs include a slot with Bohica in Cranleigh, and an acoustic set at Farnham Maltings.

In other news, Lost At Sea was played on the Delta FM Rock Show on Saturday night!  Retrograde Inversion will be doing a session with Delta FM on the 17th of March, so tune in to 97.1 between 8 and 9pm to hear!

16/02/05Retrograde Inversion win Alton Community Centre's Battle of the Bands 2005!

12/02/2005 - Thursday was the day of the band's already infamous Godalming College appearance (they would like to apologise to the owner of the piano).  Following from that, the next week is a busy one for Retrograde gigs, starting tomorrow with Cranleigh Arts Centre.  EPs will be on sale, plus look out for previously unheard material!  Check out the gigs page for more info.

Unfortunately they are not yet sure as to whether Cassie will be playing at these forthcoming gigs - tragically on Thursday morning she suffered a fractured hand and thus was unable to attend the Godalming gig.  However she seems to be on the road to recovery and hopefully will be back in action soon!

14/01/2005 - The Retrograde Inversion Forum is now online, where you can find the latest band news and gig dates.

The band have been asked to play some more gigs during the next couple of months, and these will be posted on the Gigs and Events page as soon as the dates are confirmed.
